Self imposed exile from London begins then. Enjoyed the Argentina game last night despite it being a shocker for my fantasy fussball team. Worryingly Argentina won in style, but they conceded a soft goal which cost me a defensive point for Sorin. I am currently bottom of the league. Things can only better.

Journey home was fun enough mainly thanks to Martin Jol's expert punditry for Five Live on the Holland game. Bloody Robben got a goal which gives mikeyboy an extra point. Jol told us how he loves to watch football at home, presumably with a fat joint. I must point out that isn't a lazy stereotype (well not entirely). In the last few minutes his co-commentator kept on asking if he was worried. He replied no in at least eight different ways.

Anyway to Iran - Mexico which is unfolding in front of my eyes. Best bit so far? Undoubtedly Marquez's face as he received the Iranian gift. To be fair, it did appear to be a framed rug and I wouldn't have known where to look. But still don't look that surprised.

Right heres my prediction 2 - 0 to mexico with Franco getting two. One will be a header.
